British Aerospace (now BAE) Jetstream is a modern British low-wing turboprop powered airliner. The drive is provided by two motors Garett TPE-331-10UG with 940 KM each . The prototype flight took place in 1980. In the course of serial production, which lasted in the years 1980-1983, 386 examples of this aircraft were produced. The BAE Jetstream was created as a far-reaching development of the Hawker Siddeley Jetstream. The new machine was powered by completely new engines, a new engine cooling system, a change in the passenger compartment equipment and an improved range. This is how the machine was created and received the designation Jetstream 31. Later, its modernization was developed, focusing primarily on the issue of propulsion, which received the designation Jetstream 32. Both types of aircraft turned out to be successful designs and found a lot of civilian customers. A small number of these aircraft were purchased by the RAF to carry VIPs.
