PMC is an English abbreviation for Private Military Company, which can be translated into Polish as a private military company. Such companies provide specialized security and military services, including small-scale military operations. In fact, these are companies whose certain aspects of operations (especially those carried out in Iraq in the period 2004-2011) can be defined as conducting military operations with mercenary troops. However, it is worth remembering that the range of services offered by PMC is very wide and starts with the provision of air transport services for military goods, the implementation of tasks related to military engineering, through security activities in the war zone, and after - de facto - carrying out these activities on a small scale . Often, PMCs have a lot of logistics facilities, a rich technical park and a good interview. It is worth adding that former soldiers of elite special forces units, such as, for example, Delta Froce, often serve in them. One of the most famous PMC companies is the American Blackwater Worldwide, now known as Academi.
