The Caudron C.445 Goėland was a French low-wing transport and passenger plane from the interwar period, World War II and the post-war period. In the C.445M version, the drive was provided by two Renault 6Q engines with a capacity of 220 HP each. The length of the aircraft was 13.68 meters with a wingspan of 17.59 meters. The maximum speed did not exceed 300 km / h, and the range reached 1000 kilometers. The machine did not have on-board weapons. The Caudron C.445 Goėland was essentially a development of the C.440 aircraft, which was largely a grassroots initiative of the Caudron plants. After the flight in 1934, the machine was offered for the civilian market, but relatively quickly aroused considerable interest in the French air force. Its production also continued in 1940-1944 for the needs of, above all, the German Luftwaffe, and after 1945 it was resumed. The Caudron C.445 was very similar to the C.440, with propellers rotating in different directions and a slightly modified wing structure. The two main versions of this machine are: C.445M (military version) and C.445R (extended flight range version). It is worth adding that civilian versions, produced after 1945, were called C.445 / 3.
