The DFW T.28 Floh (German: flea) is a prototype of a German fighter from the early period of World War I. The T.28 was developed at DFW Gmbh by Herman Dorner. Its silhouette was radically different from all known planes from that era - it had a small wingspan and a very high fuselage, which resulted in terrible visibility from the cabin, compensated for by high speed. Only two prototypes were built, one of which crashed in 1915 during trials. Thereafter, work on T.28 was discontinued. Technical data: length: 4.5 m, wingspan: 6.5 m, maximum speed: 180 km / h, armament: fixed - 1 LMG08 / 15 7.92 mm machine gun.
