The Saab 210 Lill-Draken (Swedish little dragon) was a Swedish experimental jet-powered aircraft from the Cold War period. The prototype flight took place in 1952 - the machine never entered mass production. The drive was provided by a single engine Armstrong Siddeley Adder turbojet . The plane's top speed was 460 km / h. The Saab 210 Lill-Draken was created in order to test the design assumptions for the future Swedish air force fighter - the Saab J-35 Draken machines. The main task was to check the aerodynamic assumptions related to the double delta wing. The Saab 210 was, in essence, a 30% reduction in the J-35 fighter. The Saab 210 Lill-Draken was extensively tested in 1952 and made a total of nearly 1,000 experimental flights. Initially, the Saab 210 had two air intakes for the engine at the front of the fuselage (Saab 210 A), but later moved them further behind the cockpit (Saab 210 B).
