The maximum take-off weight is approx. 50,000 kg. The cruising speed did not exceed 400 km / h. The Bréguet 763 Provence was an evolutionary development of the Bréguet 761 machine. Compared to its predecessor, it differed primarily in the engines used, the wingspan increased by 1.5 meters and their clearly reinforced structure. The number of crew members also increased from 3 to 4. However, it still retained the overall structural layout. Aircraft of this type were originally operated by Air France and mainly served air connections in the Mediterranean basin and in France, between, for example, Paris and Marseille or Nice. However, the plane turned out to be not very economical and rather outdated after the Sud Aviation Se 210 Caravelle was put into service.
