BREDA 25 FLOATS VERSION

The Breda Ba.25 was an Italian training and training aircraft with a metal structure, in a biplane configuration. The drive was most often provided by a single motor Alfa Romeo Lynx with a power of 200 HP. The flight of the prototype took place in 1931 - in the same year mass production began, which lasted until 1938, ending with the production of about 770 machines of this type. The machine did not have a permanent armament. The Breda Ba.25 was created as a development of the civil construction of the same company - the Breda Ba.19 aircraft. From 1932, Ba.25 began to enter the training units of the Italian military aviation. Several development versions were created in the course of serial production. For example, the Ba.26 version with a larger wingspan or the Ba.28 powered by the Piaggio Stella VII engine was created. A version with a float undercarriage was also created (Ba.25 I). The Breda Ba.25 plane enjoyed considerable interest from foreign customers and in the 1930s it was sold, among others, to Austria, Bolivia, China, Ecuador and Paraguay.
