BREDA BA.28 ONE-SEAT VERSION

The Breda Ba.28 was an Italian training and training plane, built in the biplane system with a classic solid landing gear from the interwar period and World War II. The flight of the prototype took place in 1935, and a year later the plane entered service. In total, only about 50 aircraft of this type were built. The length of the machine was 7.8 meters with a wingspan of 10 meters. The drive was provided by a single Piaggio P.VII Z engine with 380 HP. The machine did not have a permanent on-board armament. The Breda Ba.28 plane was created as a development of the previous very successful model of the same aviation company - Ba.25. Compared to its predecessor, it had primarily a different, more powerful, drive unit. It also had improved aerodynamic properties, as well as the use of ailerons on both the upper and lower lobes, not just the lower one. The machine was not liked by the pilots due to its average maneuverability and very poor acrobatic skills. It was used to a small extent in the Spanish Civil War in 1936-1939.
