The Potez 25 (or Potez XXV) was a French multi-role aircraft from the interwar period and the beginning of World War II. The flight of the prototype took place in 1924, and serial production started a year later - in 1925. The drive was provided by a single motor Lorraine-Dietrich 12Eb with a power of 450 hp. The length of the aircraft was 9.14 meters with a wingspan of 14.14 meters. The deck armament consisted of three 7.7 mm machine guns. The machine could also carry a load of bombs weighing up to 400 kilograms. The presented machine was developed as a bottom-up initiative of plants Avions Henri Potez and was intended as the successor to the Potez 15 observation and reconnaissance machine (or: Potez XV). The new machine retained many of the features of its predecessor, but differed primarily in two important respects: firstly, it received a much more powerful engine, and secondly - it was built in a 1.5-wing configuration. Finally, a successful machine was created, which for the 1920s was characterized by good performance, very good piloting properties and a solid structure. The machine turned out to be a great success of the Potez plants and was used in aviation, among others, in France, but also Belgium, Brazil, China, Greece and Poland.
