The Messerschmitt P.1095 was a project by a German WWII jet fighter. The propulsion was to be provided by a single Junkers Jumo 004 engine. The on-board armament was to consist of two Mk.108 30 mm cannons. The machine has never been tested, much less entered mass production. The P.1095 was developed at the Messerschmitt aviation plant by Rudolf Seitz in 1943 as a modernization of the Me-262 aircraft. From its ancestor, the new machine took, among others: wings and cockpit, and from the Me-309 - a chassis. The P.1095 fighter differed, however, in the fact that a single jet engine was used (instead of two - as in the Me-262) in the nacelle under the fuselage, as well as the use of scarce resources, especially duralumin, on a smaller scale in the construction. Two versions of the aircraft were developed, which differed primarily in the size of the wings and their design. Finally, at the beginning of 1944, the program was canceled. The Messerschmitt P.1095 never got beyond the design stage.
