The Horten Ho VII was a German experimental aircraft in a flying wing configuration from World War II. The prototype flight took place in 1943. The machine, of course, never entered mass production. The drive was provided by two Argus AS-10 C engines with a capacity of 240 HP each. The length of the aircraft was 7.4 meters with a wingspan of 16 meters. The top speed did not exceed 340 km / h. The machine did not have a permanent on-board armament. The Horten Ho VII plane was developed by the brothers Walter and Reimar Horten as a development of their earlier aircraft designs from the 1930s. The machine was characterized by very unusual solutions. First of all, it was constructed in a flying wing arrangement, which was unusual at that time, it also had a four-support, retractable in-flight landing gear and it used push propellers instead of pulling ones. The designers assumed that the new plane would be primarily a training machine for pilots who would later fly the Horten Ho IX and assumed serial production at the level of 20 aircraft. However, these plans were not implemented and the Ho VII did not go into production. It is assumed that only a single copy of the Horten Ho VII was made, which was destroyed in April 1945.
