The Orlican VSO 10 was a Czechoslovakian glider of the Club and Standard class, the flight of the prototype took place in 1977 and the glider entered production in 1979. In total, about 225 copies of this aircraft were built. The glider was 7 meters long with a wingspan of 15 meters. The weight of the empty sailplane was 250 kg, and the maximum take-off weight was up to 380 kg. The VSO 10 glider was developed and manufactured by V yvojova Skupina Orlica, as the successor of the VT-116 Orlik II glider. Design work on the VSO 10 began in 1972, and the prototype flight took place five years later. The new glider was characterized by a mixed structure using steel, wood, fiberglass and aluminum. The glider was also a typical high wing aircraft. The glider turned out to be successful and was produced until 1990.
