Focke-Wulf Entwurf II is a project of a German, heavy fighter plane with mixed (piston-jet) propulsion from the Second World War. The machine has never gone beyond the design stage - thus it has never been flown. The maximum speed was to reach approx. 850 km / h. The propulsion was to be provided by two BMW003 turbojet engines and a single piston engine driving the push propeller. The on-board armament would probably consist of a combination of machine guns and cannons. Focke-Wulf Entwurf II sketches and designs were created in early 1945. They assumed the creation of a fighter capable of operating in all weather conditions and at night. It was planned to install a radar on the plane, and the crew was to consist of as many as three people: a pilot, a radar operator and a navigator. The project assumed the use of wings with a fairly large slant, and above all, the use of as many as three engines as a drive! Two of them would be turbo-jets and it was planned to place them on nacelles under the wings. The third engine, on the other hand, was reciprocating and would drive a rear push propeller. This interesting project, however, was never realized and the Focke-Wulf Entwurf II never went into production.
