The PWS-35 Ogar was a prototype Polish aerobatic training and aerobatic aircraft of a mixed structure, in a biplane system, with a fixed undercarriage. The drive in the basic version was provided by a single engine PZInż Walter Major IV with 130 HP. The prototype flight took place in 1938. The plane never entered mass production. Plane PWS-35 Ogar was the work of three colleagues from studies at the Lviv Polytechnic: Kazimierz Nowicki, Marian Piątek and Michał Rosnowski. These talented young engineers originally planned to create the Hound as an amateur build, building on their own, earlier NPR-1 design. However, the PWS company, seeing a lot of potential in the entire project, decided to hire all three designers, and the Ogar was to become the next training plane of the Podlasie Aircraft Factory. It was then - in 1937 - that the machine received the designation PWS-35 Ogar and was adapted to the requirements of the military training and aerobatic aircraft. The first prototype was ready as early as 1938, but it showed some design errors, after their removal and the second prototype was flown in the same year, the PWS-35 turned out to be a successful machine and it was planned to launch its serial production in the fall of 1939. The outbreak of World War II thwarted these plans.
