The Zlin C-106 was a Czechoslovakian training aircraft from the post-war period in a mixed low wing design. The drive was provided by a single engine Gnome-Walter Minor 4-III with 105 hp. The length of this aircraft was 7.85 meters with a wingspan of 10.6 meters. The machine did not have a permanent on-board armament. The Zlin C-106 was essentially a Czechoslovak version of the German Bücker Bü-181 aircraft, which was produced at the Zlin aviation plant during World War II. After the end of hostilities, the plants continued its production under the designation C-106 for the Czechoslovak Air Force. In total, about 320 machines of this type were built, which were used in the 1940s and 50s of the twentieth century. The Zlin C-106 was one of the basic training and training machines in the Czechoslovak military aviation at that time. As a curiosity, it can be added that the license for the production of this aircraft was sold to Egypt, where the Egyptian Heliopolis Aircraft Works took up the production of this machine.
