The Handley Page Jetstream T.2 is a British training plane from the Cold War and modern times. The machine was approximately 14.4 meters long with a wingspan of approximately 15.9 meters. The civilian version of the aircraft was first flown in 1967 and entered production in 1969. The Handley Page Jetstream T.2 is an upgrade of the Jetstream T.1 aircraft. The latter was designed for the British Air Force (RAF) as a machine for the initial training of pilots designated to fly multi-engine airplanes. In essence, it was a development of the civilian version of the Jetstream Mark I. However, the T.2 version was a conversion of the T.1 model, but was intended for the British Royal Navy, and more specifically for training its pilots, especially other members of the cabin crews. It is worth noting that Uruguay was the only user of the Handley Page Jetstream T.2, other than Great Britain. The machine was withdrawn from service in both countries in 2010-2011.
