Ключевые слова #SIM-XII
Rogozarski SIM-XII-H was a Yugoslav training seaplane from the interwar period and World War II with a fixed - float chassis. The drive was provided by a single 190 HP Walter-Major VI engine. The prototype flight took place in 1938. A year later, serial production began, which lasted until 1941. As a result, 9 copies of this machine were created. The machine did not have a permanent on-board armament. Rogozarski SIM-XII-H was commissioned by the Yugoslav Air Force, which was interested in acquiring a training seaplane based on the design of the successful and already proven SIM-X machine. The Rogozarski aviation plant - adapting to the recipient's requirements - actually relied on the design of this aircraft, creating the SIM-XII-H. However, she applied a few modifications: first of all, she used a more powerful engine, strengthened the structure of the machine, slightly enlarged the dimensions of the machine and changed the shape of the front of the hull. The plane turned out to be successful - it had a durable structure and was easy to fly. Relatively quickly it won the sympathy of the pilots flying on it. Aircraft of this type took part in repelling the German invasion in April 1941.
