The Ansaldo SVA-10 was an Italian reconnaissance aircraft and light bomber in a mixed biplane structure with a fixed undercarriage from the First World War and the interwar period. The drive was provided by a single 250 HP Isotta Fraschini engine. The prototype flight took place in 1918. The deck armament consisted of two 7.7 mm machine guns. The SVA-10 belonged to the family of Ansaldo SVA aircraft. Originally, the machines of this family were designed as reconnaissance aircraft, but due to their good performance and high piloting properties, they were also redesigned for other tasks - e.g. as fighter planes. The SVA-10 was created on the basis of the SVA-5 and SVA-9 versions, and the main difference was the use of a different power unit with more power and the strengthening of the entire structure. The Ansaldo SVA-10 aircraft were used successfully at the very end of World War I as long-range reconnaissance aircraft and light bombers. One of them took part in the famous Vienna bombing raid in August 1918. SVA-10 planes also served in the Polish aviation in the years 1921-1927.
