Ключевые слова #C.460
Caudron C. 460 It was a French civilian racing plane that was flown in 1934, which was likely to have been produced in only 6 copies. The basic version of the plane was 7.11 meters long with a wingspan of 6.75 meters. The drive was provided by a single Renault 456 engine with a maximum power of 310 HP. The top speed was 500 km / h. The Caudron C.460 was designed by Marcel Riffard, one of the more experienced and recognized French aviation designers of the 1930s, specializing in sports and racing machines. The machine was an evolutionary continuation of the Caudron C.362, it was powered by a power unit with a significantly greater power, and the length and wingspan were also slightly changed. Above all, however, the maximum speed was significantly improved. The C.460 plane took off in 1934 in the prestigious aviation competition Coupe Deutsch de la Meurthe, and the pilots taking part in it achieved a spectacular success, taking 1st and 3rd place! In the period 1934-1936, the aircraft also set numerous records for maximum and average speed over a given distance.
