The Focke Wulf Enntwurf B 3x1000 (another designation: Focke Wulf Fw-239) was a design of the German medium bomber in the flying wing configuration from the declining period of World War II. The machine has never been flattened, much less entered production. The propulsion was to be provided by two Heinkel HeS 011 turbojet engines. It was assumed that the length of the aircraft would be 5.8 meters with a wingspan of 14 meters. The top speed was to slightly exceed 1000 km / h. The machine did not have a permanent on-board armament, but it was planned that it would be able to carry a load of bombs weighing up to 1000 kilograms. Design work on the Focke Wulf Enntwurf B 3x1000 began in 1944, due to the new requirements of the German Luftwaffe, which wanted to obtain a jet bomber capable of reaching speeds of 1000 km / h and which could carry 1 ton of bombs with a range of at least 1000 kilometers. Within this specification, Focke-Wulf has developed three designs, designated Entwurf A, B and C, from which the Entwurf B was derived from a flying wing configuration. It is worth adding that it was supposed to be characterized by very good aerodynamic properties and relatively good maneuverability. The plane, however, never got past the design stage.
