The Breda Ba.19 is an Italian training and aerobatic aircraft from the interwar period and World War II in a biplane configuration. A prototype flight took place in 1928, and the machine entered the line in 1931. About 40 machines of this type were built in the course of serial production. The drive was provided by a single Alfa Romeo Lynx engine with power up to 200-220 HP. The length of the aircraft was 6.6 meters with a wingspan of 9.04 meters. The maximum speed was up to 205 km / h. The machine did not have a permanent on-board armament. The Breda Ba.19 aircraft was developed as a new aerobatic and training machine for the Italian Air Force. The emphasis was placed on the lowest possible production costs, ease of repair or broadly understood operation, but also on the best properties in aerobatics. In total, there were three main versions of the aircraft: Breda Ba.19 (single-seater), Breda Ba.19 ter (prototype with a new power unit) and Breda Ba.19 bis (2-seater). A number of these machines were exported to China, and about 20 machines of this type were still in the line in 1938.
