The Messerschmitt P.1110 Ente (German: duck) was a project of a German WWII jet fighter. Probably the drive was to be provided by a single Heinkel HeS 011A engine. The deck armament was supposed to consist of three 30mm Mk.108 cannons. The machine has never been tested, much less entered mass production. At the end of World War II, German aviation manufacturers, including the Messerschmitt plant, developed many projects for jet and rocket fighters as part of the so-called Jägernotprogramm. This program was to lead to the design and start of mass production of completely new types of fighter aircraft. Their main goal was to fight the Allied strategic bombers. As part of this program, at the turn of 1944 and 1945, the plants Messerschmitt developed the P.1110 project. In total, three development versions were developed. The first (designation: P.1110 / I) was the most aerodynamically conventional with a classic vertical tail. The second (P.1110 / II) already had a V-shaped vertical tail (the so-called butterfly tail or Rudlicki tail). Finally, the last version (P.1110) had a cockpit in the nose of the fuselage, and its airfoil was in the so-called duck-shaped. No version of the Messerschmitt P.1110 has been flown or entered into mass production.
