The Nakajima Ko-2 was a Japanese training and training aircraft in the biplane system with a classic - fixed landing gear from the interwar period. The machine entered service probably in 1922, and about 40 were produced in the course of production. The drive was provided by a single Le Rhone engine with power from 80 to 100 HP. The length of the aircraft was 7 meters with a wingspan of 7.9 meters. The top speed was around 145 km / h. The plane did not have permanent on-board weapons. The Nakajima Ko-2 plane was in fact a Japanese, license version of the French Nieuport 83E2, the license of which was probably purchased by Japan shortly after the end of World War I. It is worth adding that the Nieuport 83E2 itself was a development of the Nieuport 10 aircraft, which was already flown in 191. Nakajima Ko-2 planes were used at the last stage of pilot training, already for independent flights by future pilots. They were delivered mainly to aviation schools in Tokorazawa and Kagamigahara. It is assumed that they remained in active service until 1926.
