4822 KLEMM L25 D VII HUNGARIA

The Klemm Kl 25 (another designation: Klemm L.25) was a German sports and training aircraft in the low wing design with a fixed undercarriage from the interwar period. The propulsion was provided by very different engines - the first production batch was powered by a Daimler F7502 engine with a capacity of 22 HP. The flight of the prototype took place in 1928, and serial production continued in 1929-1936, ending with the production of over 600 aircraft of this type. Kl 25 was established as a grassroots initiative of betting Klemm Leightflugzeugbau Gmbh, which at the end of the 1920s sought to expand their commercial offer. In order to reduce costs and shorten the research and development period, the creation of a new machine was based on the Kl 20 aircraft. The Klemm Kl 25 turned out to be a very successful machine. It was simple and cheap to build, easy to pilot, and had very good aerodynamic properties. The plane was able to fly even with the use of 25% of the engine power, and its take-off speed was only 50 km / h! Klemm Kl 25 machines have found many civil and military customers (as a basic training machine), including in Germany, Bolivia, Romania, Great Britain and the USA.
