The Piero Magni PM3 / 1 (another designation: Magni Vale PM-3-4) was an Italian sports and aerobatic plane in a monoplane arrangement with an umbrella wing from the interwar period. The drive - in the basic version - was provided by a single engine Farina T. 58 with a power of 130 hp. The flight of the plane took place in 1933 or 1934. plane. The machine did not have on-board weapons. Only two copies of this plane were built. The PM3 / 1 plane was created by the Piero Magni Aviazione aviation plant as a light sports and aerobatic machine, intended for the civil market. For its construction, the plant relied on another of its aircraft: the PM2. In 1937, a copy of the next version was created, designated as Piero Magni PM3 / 4 (another designation: Supervale PM-4-1). It was powered by the new Fiat A.54 engine with 140 hp. Both the PM3s built had good flight characteristics, refined fuselage and airframe aerodynamics, were also maneuverable and relatively easy to pilot. However, the outbreak of World War II prevented Piero Magni Aviazione from developing this promising design.
