Ключевые слова #AB-8
The Aichi AB-8 was a prototype Japanese in-flight bomber from the interwar period. The plane was first flown in 1933, but never entered mass production. The drive was provided by a single 600 HP Lorraine Courlis engine. The length of the machine was 9.55 meters with a wingspan of 14 meters. The AB-8 was designed as a private initiative of Nagoya-based Aichi Kokuki, a successor to the not so successful B2M1 and B2M2 on-board bombers. The aircraft was designed as a machine with a crew of three people, in a biplane arrangement and with a permanent undercarriage. It is powered by an engine with a relatively high - for those times - maximum power. The machine, however, lost the competition for a government order with the Kusho aircraft. In total, only one copy was made. Aichi AB-8, which was later used by the manufacturer for testing.
