The Yokosho I-go was a Japanese prototype reconnaissance seaplane in a biplane arrangement with a fixed float landing gear from the interwar period. A prototype flight took place in 1927, but the machine never entered production. The drive was provided by a single Gasuden-Le Rhone engine with 80 HP. The length of the aircraft was 6.2 meters with a wingspan of 7.2 meters. The plane did not have permanent on-board weapons. The Yokosho I-go aircraft was commissioned by the Japanese naval command, which at the beginning of the 1920s wanted to acquire a reconnaissance seaplane capable of operating from submarines. With this goal in mind, the Yokosho factory aimed to create the smallest possible aircraft, with foldable wings that would allow the aircraft to be placed in the ship's hangar. It is worth adding that the new machine was largely based on the solutions used in the Heinkel U1 plane imported from Germany. During the tests, the Yokosho I-go turned out to be quite a successful plane, but the naval command decided not to continue the development of this machine and did not put it into service.
