FOCKE WULF FW 56 STÖSSER - STARTER SET

The Focke Wulf Fw-56 Stösser (German: Sparrowhawk) is a German, single-engine, training and fighter aircraft with a mixed structure in the high wing structure from the initial period of World War II. The aircraft was developed as a response from Focke Wulf to a training aircraft and fighter supporting air defense. It turned out to be such a successful design that it won the competition with the Arado Ar.76 and Heinkel He.74 planes. The Fw-56 entered mass production in 1935, and by 1940, more than 1,000 copies of this aircraft were made. The aircraft was mass-built in one version: the Fw-56A-1, which in practice was only a training aircraft. The plane was exported to Austria and Hungary. The drive was the 8-cylinder Argus As 10C engine with a capacity of 250 HP.
