Ключевые слова #DO-23
The Dornier Do 23 was a German all-metal medium bomber from the interwar period and WWII. The drive - in the Do 23 G version - was provided by two engines BMW VI U with 750 hp each. The flight of the prototype took place in 1934, and serial production started a year later. As a result, about 200 aircraft of this type were created. The deck armament consisted of three 7.92 mm MG 15 machine guns. The plane could carry a load of bombs weighing up to 1000 kilograms. The Dornier Do 23 was created as a successor and development of the not very successful Dornier Do 11 bomber. Compared to its predecessor, it differed primarily in the change of the wingspan, the use of new ailerons and a clear reinforcement of the airframe and fuselage structure. The machine was made in two versions: Do 23 F and Do 23 G, which differed only in the engines used. However, the performance of both Do 23 versions was relatively low and mass production ended very quickly. As early as 1936, the plane was replaced in the line by much more modern constructions and assigned to secondary tasks, for example, to aviation schools or sea aviation, as a mine-fighting aircraft. The last Do 23 units were withdrawn from the line in 1944. The only foreign user of these planes was Hungary.
