Ключевые слова #SEISHIKI-2
The Seishiki-2 was a Japanese experimental aircraft from World War I and the interwar period. The drive was provided by a single Daimler engine with 110 HP. The prototype flight took place in January 1918 - the machine never entered mass production. It was almost certain that the machine did not have any permanent on-board armament. The Seishiki-2 was developed as an aircraft that was tested for aerodynamic performance at high speeds in level flight, as well as to test the capabilities of the Daimler engine licensed at the Tokyo Arsenal of the Army. The machine probably made only two test flights, the second of which turned out to be tragic. There were significant problems with the engine in his trackie, as a result of which the plane crashed. His pilot Morikichi Sakamoto, who was also one of the designers of the Seishiki-2, was killed. After this unfortunate accident, work on the plane was stopped.
