The Yak-52 was a Soviet, and is now a Russian low-wing training aircraft from the post-war period. The prototype flight took place in 1976. Serial production was carried out in the years 1978-1998, and license production in Romania - is still in progress. The drive is provided by a single motor Vienna M-14P with 360 HP. The length of the machine is 7.75 meters with a wingspan of 9.3 meters. The Yak-52 aircraft was developed at the Yakovlev design bureau as a successor to the very successful Yak-50 aerobatic machine. Compared to its predecessor, the machine has the same engine, but slightly changed aerodynamic properties. It is also clearly heavier and has different sizes. The Yak-52 also features a full metal construction. It is worth adding that despite the changes, the Yak-52 was and is still used successfully as an aerobatic machine! The plane turned out to be a highly successful design and in the 1970s and 1980s it was the basic training and training aircraft of the Soviet aviation. It was used on a large scale in the DOSAAF organization.
