The Hanriot HD.19 was a French fixed-landing biplane training and training aircraft in the classic layout from the interwar period. The prototype flight took place in 1922. The drive was provided by a single Hispano-Suiza 8Ac engine with a power of up to 180 HP. The length of the aircraft was 7.21 meters with a wingspan of 9.19 meters. The machine did not have a permanent on-board armament. The maximum speed was 165 km / h. The HD.19 model was developed as a grassroots initiative by Compagnie des Avions Hanriot, and the aircraft designer was the founder and owner of the company - Eng. Rene Hanriot. The plane was a development of the previous model - HD.14. Compared to it, it had, among other things, a more powerful engine, better performance (especially range) and other overall dimensions. Hanriot HD.19 was used in aviation equipment, mainly in French and Polish. It is worth adding that in the years 1925-1928 the license production of this aircraft was carried out in our country (at the WFS factory in Poznań). The machine was also tested in Japan, but it was not entered into service in that country.
