Ключевые слова #FVA-10B
The FVA-10b Rheinland was a German sports and performance glider from the interwar period, World War II and the early post-war years. Its first copy was constructed in 1936. The wingspan of this aircraft was 16 meters with a length of 7.04 meters and a height of 0.97 meters. The glider's curb weight was 142 kilograms. The FVA-10b Rheinland was developed by a group of students, enthusiasts of glider aviation, studying at the Aachen University of Technology (Aachen). In the workshops there, it was manufactured for several years, in the number of about 30. The glider was characterized, for those times, by almost perfect aerodynamic shapes, excellent visibility from the pilot's cabin, but also the use of aerodynamic brakes and wheels for taking off and landing. After the end of World War II, single copies of this glider were delivered, among others, to Poland and Czechoslovakia.
