Ключевые слова #KO-3
The Nakajima Ko-3 is a Japanese fighter and training aircraft from the interwar period in a biplane configuration. The production of the machine lasted in the years 1921-1923, ending with the production of about 100 machines of this type. The drive was provided by a single Le Rhone engine in two versions with power from 80 to 130 HP. The length of the aircraft was 5.67 meters with a wingspan of 8.22 meters. The top speed was up to 135 km / h. The deck armament consisted of a single 7.7 mm machine gun. Japan, although it did not participate intensively in World War I, was very closely monitoring the development of military technology related to this conflict. Towards the end of the war, it also imported a relatively large number of Entente airplanes models - mainly from France. Among them was the Nieuport 24C1 aircraft, which initially served in Japan under the designation Type Ni-24. However, in 1921 there was a change in the designation of military aircraft and the Type Ni-24 became the Ko-3. In the same year, its serial production also started at the Nakajima plant. It is worth adding that the machine was initially used as a fighter plane, but was relatively quickly reclassified as a training and training machine.
