The Arado Ar 79 was a German low-wing aerobatic and sports aircraft with a mixed design from the Second World War. The drive was provided by a single engine Hirth HM 500 A-1 with 105 hp. The flight of the prototype took place in 1938, and in the years 1938-1941 serial production continued, which led to the creation of about 50 examples of this aircraft. The plane did not have on-board weapons. Ar 79 was established as a grassroots initiative of aviation companies Arado Flugzeugwerke that aimed to create a completely new aerobatic plane - the best in its class. Finally, an aircraft with fantastic piloting properties and good performance, but also more expensive to produce than those of the competition, was created. However, the high quality of the construction allowed the Ar 79 to set many aviation records in its class of aircraft, such as the record for the maximum speed at distances of 1000 and 2000 kilometers. In the period World War II was used by the Luftwaffe as a liaison, communication and training aircraft.
