The Nissan Legrand is a Japanese passenger van (MPV) that was presented to the public for the first time in 1997. Its serial production started in the same year and is still going on. The car was or is driven - depending on the version - by a relatively wide range of engines with a displacement of 2.5 to 3.5 liters. The Legrand model was developed and implemented into production by the Nissan Motor Company automotive concern, in order to supplement and later replace the Homy-Caravan and Presage models in the offer. From the very beginning, it was assumed that the model would be sold on the domestic market and especially on Asian markets. Nissan Legrand's main market competitors are, for example, Toyota Alphard and Honda Odyssey. The model has had three generations so far, the last of which was launched in 2010. Cars of this generation are powered by one of the two engines with a capacity of 2.5 or 3.5 liters, and the transmission is handled by a 7-speed gearbox.
