CHEVY BERETTA PRO STREET

The Chevrolet Beretta is an American sports passenger car that was presented to the public for the first time in 1987. Its serial production was carried out in the years 1988-1996. The car was powered - depending on the version - with a wide range of gasoline engines with a displacement of 2.0 to 3.1 liters, and the transmission was handled by an automatic or manual gearbox. Production was carried out in the United States - primarily at plants in the cities of Linden and Wilmington. The Beretta model was developed and put into production by the General Motors concern - the owner of the Chevrolet brand - in order to expand the commercial offer and supplements the Camaro and Corvette models on the American automotive market. Interestingly, the Chevrolet Beretta was designed in the same design office as the two above-mentioned models and had the same GM L Platform as the Chevrolet Corsica. The car was produced primarily as a 2-door coupe, but a convertible version was also created. The car turned out to be a moderate market success and in 1996 it was withdrawn from sale.
