1966 CHEVY SUBURBAN

The Chevrolet Suburban is an American passenger car that is currently classified as an SUV. The first car to bear the Suburban name was presented by Chevrolet to the general public in 1935. Its serial production started in 1936 and continues to this day! Thus, the Chevrolet Suburban is one of the longest-produced car models in the history of the automotive industry! Due to the very long production time, the car was powered by various gasoline and diesel engines. In the case of the latest generation cars, there are two engines with a capacity of 5.3 and 6.2 liters. The Suburban model was developed and put into production by the General Motors Company, the owner of the Chevrolet brand. The car was originally introduced to the market as a passenger and utility car for the transport of small goods that would be suitable for both suburban and rural areas. The first generation of the car (produced in the years 1935-1940) was created mainly for the American National Guard. With time, however, the car evolved and changed its destiny, becoming a passenger car in which more and more importance was attached to travel comfort. For example, the 5th generation cars (produced in the period 1960-1966) were offered as 2-door SUVs, with engines with a capacity of 3.8 to 5.4 liters, with wider equipment than the cars of the previous generation.
