ISUZU GEMINI (JT150) IRMSCHER TURBO (1989)

The Isuzu Gemini is a Japanese passenger car belonging to the lower-middle class, which was first presented to the public in 1974. Its serial production started in the same year and continued until 2000. The car was powered by one of the gasoline or diesel engines - depending on the version - with a capacity of 1.3 to 1.8 liters. The car was produced mainly in Japan at the factories in the city of Fujisawa. The Gemini model was originally named Bellett Gemini and was developed and put into series production by the Isuzu Motors Limited automotive concern as the successor to the Bellett model. Compared to its predecessor, it differed in many elements. First of all, it was created on the same platform as the 3rd generation Opel Kadett, it was also offered in a narrower range of body versions (only as a 2-door coupe or 4-door sedan) and was powered by modernized engines. Significant changes also took place in the design of the body and the passenger compartment. The Isuzu concern offered Gemini models primarily on the domestic automotive market, but also on export markets. Five generations of the Gemini model were created in the course of production, the last of which was launched in 1997.
