The Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt is a sports American passenger car (the so-called muscle car), which was presented to the public for the first time in 1964. The car was powered by a single Ford FE engine with a displacement of 7 liters. 3 or 4-speed gearboxes, manual or automatic, were responsible for the transmission. The car was manufactured at the Ford plant in the city of Dearborn in the United States. A total of 100 cars of this type were built. The Fairlane Thunderbolt model was developed on the basis of the series production of the Ford Fairlane. It took over many elements of its personal predecessor, but it differed primarily in the power unit with greater capacity, greater maximum power and different dynamics of work. The vehicle was designed and produced in small numbers primarily for the NHRA Super Stock races in 1964, which it won.
