ISUZU BIGHORN 2ND GENERATION

The Isuzu Bighorn (another name: Isuzu Trooper) is a Japanese off-road car, produced by the Isuzu Motors Ltd. concern, which was first presented to the public in 1981. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 2002. The model was manufactured, among others, in the city of Fujisawa in Japan. The Bighorn model was designed and implemented for production in order to expand the commercial offer of the concern. The first generation of the car, produced in the years 1981-1991, was a relatively simple off-road vehicle (so-called mid-size SUV) with a frame structure, offered in 2-door and 4-door versions. The range of engines was relatively wide, ranging from 1.9 to 2.8 liters. The first generation of the car also had a conservative, very angular body style. In 1992, the second generation of Isuzu Bighorn appeared, which was larger than the previous one, had more luxurious equipment, changed body style and a completely new rear suspension. Engines with a larger capacity (from 3.0 to 3.5 liters) and generating more power were also used. In the company's offer, the Bighorn model was replaced by Isuzu Ascender.
