PEUGEOT 203

The Peugeot 203 is a French middle class passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1948. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 1960. About 685,000 copies of this model were produced during it. Produckaj was concentrated in the city of Sochaux in France. The Peugeot 203 was one of the first series-produced passenger cars in France after World War II. What's more, it turned out to be a great market success and gained the recognition of drivers. It was characterized by considerable ergonomics, low operating costs and high mechanical reliability. The car was also characterized by modern, for those times, styling of the body and interior of the passenger compartment. A single 1.3 liter engine with 42 to 49 hp was used as the drive. Peugeot 203 was offered in several body versions: as a 2-door and 4-door convertible, a 2-door coupe, but most of all as a 4-door fastback sedan. Peugeot 203 was replaced in the company's offer by the 403 model.
