Citroen Trefle (another designation: Citroen 5CV) is a French passenger car, belonging to the so-called C series, the first car of which was presented to the public in 1922. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 1926 - about 80,000 copies of this car were produced during it. It was concentrated in the company's Paris plants. Citroen Trefle was designed and implemented for production as a new model in the company's offer, intended to expand its commercial offer. In essence, it was a reduced and simplified version of the A and B2 models. From the very beginning, attention was also paid to the lowest possible production, which resulted in the use of wooden elements for the construction of the body and body. The propulsion was a small 0.8 liter engine with 11 HP, which accelerated the car weighing 590 kg to 60 km / h. The power unit was not characterized by outstanding dynamics or performance, but it was very economical by the standards of the time.
