The Sokół motorcycle was a Polish heavy motorcycle from the interwar period, World War II and the post-war period. Its production took place in the years 1934-1939 at the Państwowe Zakłady Inżynierii (PZInż) in Warsaw and in the years 1947-1950 at the II Państwowe Zakłady Samochodowe - also in the capital. In the interwar period, mainly two models of this motorcycle were produced: M111Sokół 1000 and Sokół 600 RT. Both models were undoubtedly the most popular motorcycles in pre-war Poland, and both - especially the 1000 version - were part of the Polish Army's equipment. The M111 Sokol 1000 was powered by a single 995cc twin-cylinder engine. Its curb weight was 270 kg, and with a trolley - 375 kg. The top speed was around 100 km / h. Motorcycles of this type took part in the September campaign in 1939.
