Vickers Crossley is a British armored car from the interwar period and World War II. The first prototypes of this car appeared in 1923, and its production started two years later - in 1925. The cart was 5.02 meters long, 1.87 meters wide and 2.58 meters high. The drive was provided by a single 4-cylinder engine with a power of up to 50 HP, allowing a maximum speed of 65-70 km / h. The armament of the car was placed in a rotating turret and consisted of two 7.7 mm machine guns. The Vickers Crossley was initially developed for the needs of British troops stationed in India, but over time the vehicle was exported on a relatively large scale. One of its main foreign buyers was Japan. In the Land of the Rising Sun, the car was used by the land forces, and more precisely by the Kwantung Army. Vehicles of this type took an active part in the activities in China, both during the so-called the Mukden Incident (1931), as well as in the first years of the Japanese-Chinese War (1937-1945). Interestingly, the Vickers Crossley vehicles were also part of the separate landing units of the Japanese Navy and participated, among others, in the activities in the Shanghai area in 1932.
