Puma is a modern Israeli tracked engineer and infantry transport. It began to be introduced to the line in the Israeli army in the early 1990s. The car is powered by a single engine AVDS-1790 -6A with 900 hp. The armament is usually three 7.62 mm FN MAG machine guns and a 60 mm mortar. The Puma car was built on the chassis of the Shot't tank, which in turn is a development and modernization of the Centurion tank. Unlike the original, the Puma does not have a turret with main weapons, but most often a special "casemate" with ranged weapons. It is also equipped with demining equipment (it is possible to equip the vehicle with an anti-mine trawl) and it has the option of placing footbridges for infantry over the enemy trenches. The car can take up to 8 soldiers on board. In the Israeli armed forces, Puma vehicles are most often part of independent engineer battalions.
