G-52 IJA TYPE92 HEAVY ARMORED VEHICLE EARLY TYPE

The Type 92 Jyu-Sokosha is a Japanese light tank from the interwar period and World War II. The first prototypes of this vehicle appeared in 1931, and serial production was carried out in 1933-1935. Approximately 170 tanks of this type were most likely built in the course of it. The car was powered by a single 45 HP engine. The length of the vehicle was 3.94 meters with a width of 1.62 meters. The main armament was two 6.5 mm Type 91 machine guns. The Type 92 Jyu-Sokosha was established as a support unit for the Japanese cavalry. It focuses primarily on the ability to fight enemy infantry, good maneuverability in the field, at the expense of armor, which did not exceed 22 mm in thickness. The crew consisted of three people, with the commander also serving as a gunner for one of the machine guns. Only a few examples of this tank had radio stations. The Type 92 Jyu-Sokosha was used in combat in Manchuria and in combat in China from 1937. As a result of these experiments, the armament of the car was strengthened by replacing the 6.5 mm rifles with the 13.2 mm ones and the 20 mm cannon.
