Garford-Putilov was a Russian armored car from the First World War. The first prototypes of this vehicle were built in 1914, and production was carried out in 1915-1916. It is estimated that a total of 48 vehicles of this type were built. The vehicle was 5.7 meters long, 2.3 meters wide and 2.8 meters high. . The drive was provided by a single 36 HP four-cylinder engine. The armament consisted of a 76.2 mm cannon and three 7.62 mm Maxim machine guns. Garford-Putilov was developed for the needs of the Russian army based on the chassis of 5-tonne Garford trucks imported from Great Britain. On the other hand, the assembly of the armor on these chassis took place on the premises of the Putiłowski Works. Hence the name of the vehicle: Garford-Putilov. It is assumed that the car was one of the best-armed armored cars of the First World War, but on the other hand it was relatively high and not very maneuverable in the field. Despite these disadvantages, it was used by the Russian army in World War I, during the civil war in Russia, and several captured specimens were also used in Germany during the so-called November Revolution 1918-1919. At least three of this vehicle was also used by the Polish Army during the war with Bolshevik Russia in 1919-1921.
