3,7 CM KPUV VZ.37M / 3,7 CM PAK M 37(T)

3.7cm KPUV vz. 37[inne oznaczenie: PaK37 (t)] is a Czechoslovak 37 mm anti-tank gun from the interwar period and World War II. The first prototypes of this gun were built in 1935, and serial production was carried out in 1936-1939. The weight of the weapon was 370 kilograms. The initial velocity of the anti-tank shell fired from this gun was up to 750 m / s, and the effective range of the shot did not exceed 900 meters. The rate of fire - with a well-trained crew - was up to 12 rounds / minute. The 3.7cm KPUV cannon vz. 37 was developed and produced at the Skoda plants, especially for the Czechoslovak army. It was a weapon very similar to the 3.7cm KPUV vz. 34, but it was characterized by a higher initial velocity of the projectile. Before 1939, the weapon was exported to Yugoslavia on a small scale. After the collapse of Czechoslovakia, many guns of this type entered Wehrmacht use under the designation 3.7 cm PaK37 (t), and more than 150 were taken over by Slovakia.
