T-4 minesweepers are Polish inland navigation units from the interwar period and World War II. Their construction was carried out in the years 1927-1930. The length of this type of vessel was approx. 9 m, with a total width of approx. 3.8 m. The drive was provided by a single engine with only 20 HP! The crew consisted of three people and the armament was a single 7.92 mm machine gun. T-4 minesweepers were designed and built in the Naval Port Workshops in Pinsk for the needs of the Pinsk Flotilla. Units of this type were propelled by paddle wheels, they also had a very low draft, which allowed them to operate even at low water level of the Pripyat River and its backwaters. In total, four ships of this type were built. Initially, they were called T-1 to T-4, but in 1936 their names were changed to T-4 to T-7. T-4 units took an active part in the September campaign of 1939, and soon after the Soviet invasion they sank.
